Last September 29th, the Ebro Innovation Day was celebrated at the Loyola University-Dos Hermanas campus, and the seven finalist projects - with “The Digital Fingerprint of Hisparroz” amongst them - were presented as solutions for the agri-food sector challenges. The Ebro Innovation Day is the final event of the Ebro Talent: Caring for Innovation, promoted by The Ebro Foundation and the Loyola University, whose objective is to discover innovative projects and ideas for the agri-food sector, focusing on their sustainability. The program held its first meeting in a Bootcamp celebrated in Carmona from June 24th to 26th, where the 13 preselected startpups (out of 40 that were presented to the program) worked on their proposals through a mentoring program. The startup Whater Tech won the first prize, with a proposal to transform the residual waters from the industrial processes derived from rice production, into irrigation water and fertilizers. “The Digital Fingerprint of Hisparroz” won the second prize in the general category, and the Best Challenge in its category.
