ManSciTech participated in the first call of the GEN projects, whose aim is to solve current strategic challenges of the COVAP cooperative by bringing together the expertise of their team with external entrepreneurial talent.
The strategy of our proposal is granted by the relevance and novelty of the use of cutting-edge technologies, like Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), to contribute to the digitalization of the agrifood sector. As a matter of fact, the objective identification and quantification of compounds of interest in agrifood by NMR allows the establishment of a standard, simple, fast, and economic protocol to improve effectiveness and reduce costs, use of resources, losses of production factors, all of these without compromising food quality, which is essential for consumers.
This digitalization is especially urgent in the agrifood sector and the activities of the rural area, contributing also to its sustainability, given the economical and ecological (ECO2) improvements derived from the proposal. This unique opportunity given by the EU Next Generation funds will boost innovation, digitalization, and sustainability of the agrifood sector as a key sector. Thus, the implementation of the protocol that is herein proposed will contribute to apply a food quality control through digitalization, in line with the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
